ERROR OF OMISSION
An exchange between TJ Jailer and a commenter at the bottom of the comments section in a previous had me smacking my head. I mentioned the number of reasons dropouts debrief. They were; 1) you want to work off a case, 2) you broke the rules and went in the hat, and 3) politics puts you in the hat. The head smacking was becasue I failed to mention another reason -- the change of heart. As TJ correctly pointed out, Mundo was not working off a case, he was in up status with the brothers and there weren't any weird politics brewing against him. It was purely a matter of turning his back on the life and deciding to go the other way. He's not alone in this course of action. There have been others. By failing to mention that last reason in the post, I was guilty of being incomplete. And I hate when I do that. I just want to set straight my thoughts on that issue.

In american me, Mundo is portrayed as weak initially. Is there any basis to that or is it just another discrepancy in the films facts.

Hey vato who knows it all(up above), just because "Alice Baker" and the EME have a working relationship doesn't mean they are all "buddy-buddy." Pedo pops off between the two every now and again. As long as the mayates, busters, or others stay put and don't interfere, shit will still go down. The vato that stated the Chino pedo was on point. This type of disrespect isn't uncommon. I remember when I was in Avenal there was this gavacho with "norte" across his back. A couple of the carnales rushed him in the chow hall and everybody cleared out. When it was all said and done, the gavachos came up to the carnales and the cranales went at it with them. They looked at it as a color thing, the carnales looked at it as a norte, SUR thing. So rest your neck young buck. Some of us older vatos do have a little experience. Chooowww...Longo North Side~Uptown Locos

Looks like the L.A Times has more of the scoop then most here. BLACKS vs. LATINOS, are they right???

8 Inmates Hurt in Riot at Chino Prison
By Lance Pugmire, Times Staff Writer

Eight inmates were injured during Thursday night's riot at the state prison in Chino, and two remained hospitalized in critical condition, authorities said Friday.

The riot at the California Institution for Men started after a fight in the dining room, and involved more than 200 inmates. It was triggered by a "disrespect-and-racial-tension episode" between Latinos and blacks at the facility's maximum-security inmate-reception center, said prison spokesman Tim Shirlock. One guard suffered a minor injury: a strained back.

The prison's east housing unit, which has beds for 270 of the prison's 6,500 inmates, was torn up "pretty good, with broken windows and doors," Shirlock said. Inmates were moved to other housing units.

"There's maintenance work to be done, and we have a bed issue," Shirlock said.

The reception center serves as a temporary home of about 90 days for new inmates from county jails. Shirlock said the reception-center processing includes inmate screening to establish such issues as criminal offenses, discipline history and gang affiliations.

"Reception centers are tough, because you have this mixture of people who are maximum and minimum security," he said. "There are a lot of violent people in there together."

Todd Slosek, a spokesman for the California Department of Corrections, said authorities have explored the idea of moving reception centers out of the state's oldest prisons: Chino and San Quentin.

"A riot of this size does cause that concern," Slosek said.

This is for whoever wants to share my take on some chicano/Mexicano,Eme history in Los Angeles and even though it's mostly what some may regard as a criminal take or narration of this history and includes my own perspective and wxperiance regarding this segment of our story, I feel it could add some understanding of where we came from, how we evolved to our present situation, and maybe inspire some sane idea's and solutions on how we can deal with and resolve a swiftly growing menace to all of us, that is organized criminal activity. I make no excuses for my own behavior which was very bad at times, and although I am and have been a decent citizen, taxpayer, and above all family man, I unlike some would never "rat" on anyone, if I mention someones name it is either because they are a rat themselves, dead, or already old news to LE. The movida I was raised with was that you "ride your own beef", if you rat on yourself that's ok,if you have a "change of heart" like I did you walk away and fade into society without taking others down while in the process.
"The "Truck from Flats", was called this because of his body shape and non-stopable determination when it came to chingasos. He was about 5'11" 220lbs.of solid thick muscle, one of those kind of Mexicans with big heads, bull necks, wide shoulders, and strong as hell. He was born in LA in the early 20's at home in Boyle Heights, in the "Flats" varrio before Aliso Village was built. Those were tough times, dirt floors, outhouses or cesspools, tar paper shacks, shitload of kids, etc; it made present day Tijuana look good. The parents migrated from Mexico as refugees from the Mexican Revolution and like many others came to LA and did the shit work most Mexicans had available to them. During the ecomomic depression of the 30's there was a US policy called "Operation Wetback" or something that was used to repatriate Mexicanos back south so that jobs would be more available to US citizens, and "Trucks' parents went back to Mexico and left the kids with relatives and friends who would take them. The older brothers including Truck were ordered out of school and to work to help support the family. I know this story because my Jefe was also from "Flats" and went through the same hard times with these guys which included certain "criminal activities" and a thousand street fights, especially with the Jewish and Russian gangs who were also from Boyle Hts. at the time,(They also made many lasting connections with these guys that later on became lucrative illegal hook ups). The "Truck" became a professional boxer and was even a contender for the Middleweight crown in the 40's before he was drafted in the Marines during WW2. This guy and his brother (also a Marine) fought in the Pacific war and landed at "Iwo Jima", his Carnal even got Malaria and was wounded by the Japs in the Phillipine Islands( the wound eventually killed him because it never healed right,he died 50 years later in 1995).
After the war Truck got back into illegal activities, mainly the drug business, and due to his intelligence, toughness, and old connections, became one of the largest and most succesful dealers in LA,(and one of the most sought after by LE!). One of his "Primos" who had done two five year stretches in the Pinta for dealing and who instead of completing his parole split to Mexico, had things organized down south. Even my old man, who was his "Compa" was making some money on the side, Yea,once in a while my jefito would drive us all (6 kids and a wife), to TJ or Mexicali in a new Ford or Buick that was provided,(shit we didn't even own our own car!) He would drop us off for an hour or so and then come back for us and off we went accross the border, then drop us off at home, take off and we never saw the car again. Shit it take me long to figure out that jale even if I was only 11 or 12, the old man was a fucking mule!
One time when I was about 15 my father took me with him to the Trucks house in ELA, the house was not opulent but everything in it was new and very neat. There were some guys there that were obviously important and dressed real sharp, there were also a few fine looking ruca's hanging around and they had a "barber" giving everyone haircuts. Truck , who I used to call "Tio" comes over to me and tells me "your getting old enough to be treated like a man now and one thing a man does is to keep certain things to himself, you know, keep your mouth shut"! Then he introduces everyone, these guys there were like Generals or Colonels in the Mexican Army!

A couple of times on this blog I have heard people say that the Chicanos created the Eme to protect themselves from the gavachos or mayates in the joint, thats bullshit, they created Eme not only for strenth but for business and control. A man like Truck never feared nobody,he was by far the baddest, toughest, motherfuckerI ever knew. He was always in shape even as he got older, him and my jefito used to do roadwork and train like boxer's all the time. Once at the factory we worked at (he always had a job so as to look legitimate to LE), everyone was in the lunchroom eating and in comes this big Mayate who worked in shipping, and he starts talking shit about Mexicans this and they ain't shit etc; and this was a big Mayate 6'4", 275lbs. who used to carry a 100 lb. sack of produce under each arm. He didn't notice Truck sitting at the end of the table peeling an apple with the straight razor he always carried. Anyway the Mayate looks his way and I can see the fear in this Suede's eyes and Truck tells him real cool, "Hey you fucking nigger, you think your tough? It's payday and everybody's gonna leave this room except you and me and whoever leaves is gonna leave with both paychecks motherfucker! I almost felt sorry for that big Mayate, he took off fast stuttering and mumbleing, "you crazy, you a crazy Mexican!"
Another time some vatos from Maravilla got on the wrong side of him, maybe a drug burn or something, but it was serious because "Truck" (as was told to me by an eyewitness), wanted to set and example, he got a hold of one of those vatos on a Sunday afternoon, put him in a car, had him stripped naked, drove to a bar on Whittier Blvd. where those guys hung out and then stuck a 12" knife up his ass and threw him out in the street in front of those vatos.(I always wondered if the scene in "American Me" was copied from this incident).
After years of effort LE finally busted the Truck by painting the top of his car with fluorescent paint and following him around with a helicopter while he met with some associates who were in the life. They could only get him on some kind of a conspiracy beef but he ended up doing 8 years. When he was released I went to see him and I asked how he did in the joint? He told me it was a piece of cake, He tells me "We have our own thing going on in the pinta now, the day I got to Folsom they treated me like royalty , I got new custom shoes, new superior clothes to wear and that night on the prison radio they even announced my arrival, "welcome to Folsom, one of the most respected vatos from the Eastside of LA, Truck from Flats!"
The Truck, unlike many in my generation, never ever used carga, he used to smoke weed for relaxation but that was it. He looked down on Hypes as weak and untrustworthy. I had a Camarada who was doing time at "Terminal Island Fed joint" who I used to visit once or twice a month ( I would take him a quarter ounce of smack double wrapped in tight balloons that he could swallow while the family was eating on the patio deck and visiting. He told me that there were so many drugs inside that the biggest problem the Carnals had was getting the money out!)anyway while visiting once I ran into Trucks son who was the same age as me and doing five years there. When I told Truck that I saw his son he said " I don't have a son anymore! He said his son was using and as far as he was concerned his son wasn't a man because real men didn't use junk.
The truck died of stomach cancer that he said he got while doing time (don't eat the mainline food!), but he was tough to the end. I asked him about medicines he was taking for his cancer and he told me they wanted to give him radiation treatments, but it would make him sterile. One of the last things he said to me was "If I got to go I'm going to go out with my boots on", and he did.
That generation is just about gone now, replaced by my generation,( thats another story!)who are also going fast, and now being replaced by a younger group that's maybe more dangerous due to sheer numbers, the access to drugs in huge quantity's and huge money available. These guys seem to have less sense of honor among thieves, less respect for others, only time will tell.
The Truck left his family set up financially with a lot of real estate ( He even owned an apartment complex in Monterry Park that he used to rent to Carnals, Joe Morgan got raided there once) and he set up many relatives in there own legitimate busines's. Most of his offspring are thriving as good Americans.

[A couple of times on this blog I have heard people say that the Chicanos created the Eme to protect themselves from the gavachos or mayates in the joint, thats bullshit, they created Eme not only for strenth but for business and control. A man like Truck never feared nobody,]

The EME formed as a prison "terrorist" group of misfits! These street gang leaders had one agenda and only one agenda -- Power and Control. They flex their muscles wherever they are found and they control whatever they set their mind to control.

Some love to romanticize about their commitment to La Raza; their commitment to the barrios they came from; others talk about how they formed to protect themselves from this proverbial "boogey man" or white guards. I've heard these old 60 and 70-year old farts talk about EME's forming to protect against white radical inmates.

Not one Original wave of EME that I've seen or interviewed has demonstrated an ounce of fear or allegiance to anything other than their carnales in La EME.

"Cheyenne" Cadena walked out of his cell unarmed and unafraid of his certain death in Palm Hall at the hands of his NF adversaries.

"Topo" Peters (Hoyo Soto), Joe Morgan (Maravilla), "Champ" Reynoso (Big Hazard), "Little Sluggo" Castaneda (Hoyo Mara), "Robot" Salas (Big Hazard), Eddie "Pelon" Moreno (Norwalk), Steve "Calote" Amador (Wilmas), "Shotgun" Sanchez (Hoyo Soto) and on and on, were ALL Heavy Hitters with one allegiance: LA EME.

Not one of these guys was motivated by this "ethnic pride" many Mother Goose aficionados choose to believe; not one of these guys needed "protection" from anyone in state prison or outside. Just ask the prison convicts themselves.

Today the EME has evolved into a group that is extremely dangerous BECAUSE of their lack of entrenched leadership. Because the real leaders are in the joint, their tentacles do not extend to the "young bucks" who wish to carve their own niches.

Disorganized Crime has been a label many in LE have started calling La EME and other similar prison gangs. BUT, and I say "but", their nucleus is still in existence, their soldiers and Sureno affiliates are still at an uncontrolled pace and accelerating at a rapid rate.

Obviously, we hope no one emerges to lead them to "Homie Heaven".

This one DOES seem like a rerun, guys, but blame DQ again. We're an exercise in senility, Don Q. Now I sound like a Homie Abuelito giving reruns. Of course the youngsters love to hear these stories and try to listen for any inconsistencies or, mentiras !!!

Stay safe and let me know what you think of Mundo's book.

[Hey TJ Jailer, here's another puzzle for you. Of the older carnales that you listed, which one are you always using the wrong first name for? Another hint, he has two brothers that are also made. All old guys.]

Unless two Hoyo Mara "graduates" Gabriel Castaneda (Little Sluggo) and Frank's (Big Sluggo) brother Mando was made (and I doubt the EME would ever consider him) that would only leave the Moreno brothers.

Eddie is the first Moreno brother to join the EME and he died in San Quentin of an "overdose". He died in the Adjustment Center on November 24, 1973, after taking too many muscle relaxers and the official cause of death was "massive pulmonary aspiration of vomitus" - he actually choked on a salami sandwich!

Everyone on that tier except "Sailor Boy" Gonzalez was put "on the list" and Ramon "Ponchi" Amado was stabbed (non-fatally) on the yard by EME's Alex "Moe" Ferrel (another ex-Hoyo Mara carnal). The shank broke on his collar bone, I believe.

Unless Eddie "Pelon" Moreno obtained a name change AFTER he died, his birth and death certificate lists him as Eddie Rodriguez Moreno (DOB: 10-10-42)

It's easy to confuse when you have a couple of "Pelon's" or maybe a couple of "Sluggo's" running around.

None of the other carnales I listed have brothers in La EME to my knowledge. So now I'm curious to know whose name I've used in vain (smile).

Mister Anonymous ......

Eddie "PELON" Moreno was considered (pound for pound) the baddest motor scooter in the CDC prison system at one time. Like you mentioned, he has two brothers who are made members and there's no rule that says one family can't have more than one Pelon.

Look at all the Tuffy's from Hoyo Mara. They have a whole family of Tuffy's.

Pelon Moreno (Eddie to you) and Doroteo "Sleepy" Betancourt from Calexico, both EME, took out two NFers in October-1972 at the California Conservation Center at Susanville by the name of Frank "Diamond" Miranda (Fresno) and Richard "Bullwinkle" Medina (Sacra).

All four were "heeled" and only "Sleepy" and "Pelon" walked away. Each received 2nd degree murder sentences, "Pelon" died in "Q" and "Sleepy" (who killed a prison guard in '62 or '63 at D.V.I.) had this new beef added onto his life sentence.

Joe Morgan was in "the system" well before "Huero" Flores but it was indeed "Huero" Flores from Hawaiian Gardens who founded the EME at DVI.

Joe was a very close EME associate and was finally recruited in 1969 at Folsom Prison by Mike "Acha" Ison and the carnales at The "House of Dracula" as they affectionately called Folsom.

Joe was to later assume the "titular" role of Godfather. Keep in mind that there is NO formal rank and file in La EME.

Nevertheless he was to be considered their Number One shot caller for many years (from 1972 until his death in the 1990's).

(In american me, Mundo is portrayed as weak initially. Is there any basis to that or is it just another discrepancy in the films facts.)

American Me had three central characters who portrayed, according to Olmos, three EME figures: "Santana" (Edward Olmos portrayed the real life Rudy "Cheyenne" Cadena), "Mundo" (Pepe Serna portrayed the real life Ramon "Mundo" Mendoza) and "J.D." (William Forsythe portrayed the real life Joe Morgan).

Although there were some similarities to their true life characters, Olmos developed his characters according to his whims and exercised what is called "creative license".

There is no "discrepancy in the film facts" because this movie, as I explained a few months back, was/is a work of "fiction" so there were no FACTS to dispute. It was generally based on some real life people and real life incidents but not a FACTUAL ACCOUNT.

1)Cheyenne Cadena was never raped in juvenile hall;
2)Cheyenne, Mundo and Joe Morgan were NOT raised together. Cheyenne was made an EME member in the late-1950's and Joe (Folsom)and Mundo (San Quentin) joined in 1969 and 1970, respectively;
3)No EME people were murdered by black gangsters as depicted;
4)No Italian mobster's son was killed (and raped) by EME in the manner depicted;
5)Cheyenne Cadena was NOT killed by his brothers but instead was hit by the NF. In the movie, Mundo tells Cheyenne, "you have a lot of heart, carnal. Maybe too much".... then Chy's EME brothers kill him. Well, in real life, the NF people who stabbed him to death probably felt this way (that Chy had a lot of heart) but that didn't stop them from doing their "job". Again, this is the film producer (Olmos) rearranging people in his work of FICTION. That was his prerogative;
6)in the movie you have "Doc" (the true life BGF leader named James "Doc" Holliday) in a black vs. EME confrontation with Doc backing down by saying, "we're not going up against the guns". This incident never occurred but black convicts in those years were deathly afraid of white guards who hated black revolutionary convicts. Their reluctance to engage in open combat was due to their belief that not only were they fighting white or Hispanic convicts but were sitting ducks for white guards with a racial agenda. This was probably the feeling Olmos was conveying to the viewer while using Doc as the "goat". In real life I doubt that Mr. Holliday would have cared about the guns! He was gung ho.

Prison Riot Triggers Lockdown; 1 Injured
By Monte Morin, Times Staff Writer

More than 200 inmates rioted at the state prison in Chino on Thursday night, injuring at least one prisoner and triggering an hours-long lockdown at the facility, authorities said.

The riot at the California Institution for Men broke out about 7 p.m. when inmates in the prison's reception center began fighting, according to Todd Slosek, spokesman for the California Department of Corrections. The cause of the riot was still under investigation, but Slosek said it appeared to be between black and Latino prisoners. The prison's reception center is where prisoners who have recently been transferred from the county jail system are housed before they are placed in the prison's general population.

Prison and local police officers used tear gas and pepper spray to quell the riot, then ordered the inmates to strip to their underwear and placed them in a large chain-link enclosure in the exercise yard, according to officials and television news footage. The situation appeared to be largely under control by 10 p.m., but guards in riot gear were still working at restoring full order, officials said. "The situation is very fluid," Slosek said. No guards were seriously injured, he said.

Bingo. Mike "Jap Mike" Kudo (Hawaiian Gardens) is indeed the Asian guy depicted in American Me. "Jap Mike", or "Japo", paroled to Hawaii where he was a martial arts instructor.

He is currently in Hawaii and "operates" on EME's behalf along with Tony Palacios (Geraghty) and Paul "Huero Tres" Portillo (Big Hazard), who have been in and out of Hawaii's correctional system for approximately the last twenty years.

Strange was a native Hawaiian of Japanese descent joining an L.A. street gang! Stranger were two L.A. gang members (Tony Palacios and "Huero Tres" Portillo) setting up shop in Hawaii.

"Jap Mike" was indeed from Hawaii and has family there. I'm not sure if "Jap Mike" ever even saw the streets of Los Angeles, let alone Hawaiian Gardens! He was made an "honorary member" of HG in prison by Daniel "Chapo" Chapa (now deceased) who later sponsored Mike for membership into La EME.

Other EME members hailing from Hawaiian Gardens were: Luis "Huero" Flores, Alejandro "Hondo" Lechuga, Howard "Cappy" Pacino and Danny Chapa.

This wasn't a "first" either (this honorary member thing). Rudy "Cheyenne" Cadena is pretty much known to be from Varrio "Bakers" in Bakersfield. He too was made an honorary member of an L.A. street gang called Primera Flats.

(What ever happened to "Hondo" and was he depicted in American Me)

Hondo was not depicted in American Me. After escaping from the Folsom Ranch in 1969, Hondo lived in Juarez, Mexico for several years and served as a liaison for Huero Flores (primarily supplying him and Hawaiian Gardens with heroin via Juarez-El Paso).

He also assisted his EME confederates with relocation deeper into Mexico (especially those who were on the run).

TJ, How were they setting up shop in Hawaii? Hawaii has some huge Samoan and Hawaiian gangs, matter fact they have their own Prison gang called USO Family, or United Samoan Organization. I used to have some samoan homies that claimed SOS (Sons of Samoa)also. Man, those are some crazy ass, hard headed, down dudes.
The funny thing is, their prison gang is biggest in Florence, Arizona,. Over 150 Members in there alone.
Hawaii doesn't have any state prisons so they contracted with some private run prisons on the mainland and send all their "serious" inmates to the mainland. Started with Texas and Minnesota and now Oklahoma and Arizona. With most in Oklahoma and Arizone and private own prisons.
Most of these gangs are into drug running with ICE which is huge in hawaii and made its way here in the late 90's but never caught on as much as cheap meth did. Think of ICE like meth but stronger without all the paranoia and of course, more expensive.

Yea, right, Eme ain't doing shit in Hawaii. Too many tough Tongans, Samoans and Hawaiians. Hawaii ain't L.A., and they got some rought neighborhoods there too. Don't think its all paradise, they got some serious poverty over there.

Anonymous said...

I been in hawaii when the lowrider show came through and the samoan, togans and philipinos over dont like white people ans there is alot of pacific islanders that try to be like cholos and have that style so it would be an easy fit to get relaxed in there

(((Most of these gangs are into drug running with ICE which is huge in hawaii and made its way here in the late 90's but never caught on as much as cheap meth did. Think of ICE like meth but stronger without all the paranoia and of course, more expensive)))

ICE and Meth: Was supplied by EME via "Jap Mike" and cohorts in Oahu. There was more than ICE and Meth involved as well. Another EME member not mentioned by TJ is Roland Berry so there are at least four made members who have been "operating" in Hawaii for some years.

And, to Retired Joker, I don't think they're into arm wrestling with these big boys, either. Their size simply made for a bigger cleanup when the dead bodies were loaded onto the meat wagons.

It's more of a business relationship. Our crew, who knew the EME players, actually "loaned" one of ours to work undercover on a few operations on the Island.

Anonymous said...

first of all, I don't think anyone said anything about Chicanos "taking over" Hawaii. I never seen a dude - Samoan, Black, corn fed Chicano, Sumu - who could stop a bullet with his or her size. gangsters don't waste their time with "fair fights". they keep their pieces well oiled, they should practice as much as possible, and wham bang. Isn't that the way of the underworld?

Anonymous said...

well the bullets run out, like when you are in the pinta. You need to know how to care of yourself. With fists and a shank.
Its not all about guns, any punk ass bitch can shoot someone. Like these skinny little fucking pelons on the street wearing baggy clothes to hide how fucking skinny they are. Chingaso's are a lost art nowadays.

Chingaso's are a lost art nowadays

Spoken like a Champion. In case you haven't noticed, all the true Masters of Fisticuffs are laid up in the cemetary.

Gangsters come in all shapes, sizes, colors and ethnicities. They make up their own rules of engagement and although we may not like those rules, everyone understands them. I think you do too.

... and, for your information, size doesn't even really matter in prison if you know how to use a shank.

Danny DeAvila, an EME dude who was extremely strong and built like a brickhouse (they called him Dangerous Dan) was attacked in the L.A. County Jail (on orders from EME's Black Dan Barela)and had his juglar slashed by some skid row looking vatos whom DD would have broken like twigs in a "fair fight". Incidentally, he is currently deceased.

Sorry, partner, although we may "wish" for the rules of engagement to be twenty paces, turn, aim and fire (with one arm tied behind your back), it doesn't work like that in the real world nor in the joint.

The only problem is that "these fools" don't care what we think. You can challenge them with getting better grades, going to the gym, joining a baseball league or any other positive enticement.

They are "temporarily astray" (most of them) and those that survive see the light when they're ready to see the light.

Having just returned from hawaii , i have to say alot of those polynesians although very big, don't think like we do out here (cali) they are more family oriented and trustworthy. You can drive along Highway 3 on the northshsore at 10:30 at night and see fine women walking all alone along jungle roads carrying nothing more than a surfboard and wearing bikinis (:-). the people out there don't bother to lock their doors alot of the time. They do have gangs and the areas are poor but the attitude out there is still way different. Like I said, you see all kinds of people just walking along the beach at all hours of the day and night with no worries. On two different trips I have given guys money ($60.00)and they would leave and come back 20 minutes later with grifa (1/8 mowie wowie)for me. I tell them they are cool gente for doing that as I couldn't see myself trusting someone i didn't know in cali to return with my feria or grifa. Anyways, were Im headed with this is It would be a huge shame to let the EME or NF and their exploitative thinking to pollute the minds of these islanders to our cali thinking. If you look in their eyes, you see innocence, even the big tatted down samoans. In cali if you look a big tatted down chicanos eyes all you see is hatred and animosity. The hawaiins should fight the EME heart and soul, not for control of the rackets, but to preserve their wonderful way of life. It would suck to see hawaii turned into the horrible cesspool gangs have turned LA into.

p.s.
As for throwing chingadazos, a small guy at 160 can whip a 260 pound samoan even without a shank. So long as he has conditioned his body for throwin down and practiced his moves, a small guy can take down a big guy easily. You guys must not take warring seriously or you'd know that and take as your art war in all its forms religously. THAT WHY iM HERE. TO STUDY OTHER WARRIORS!

Anonymous said...

Unless you Royce Gracie, its pretty rare to see a 160lb guy beat down a 260lb guy.
Samoans got hard heads man. I remember my brother and his homie almost got jacked by two large samoan woman and he had to hit her in the head with a gallon of paint.
Dats a big bitch!

Anonymous said...

Just 15 pounds of pressure to the knee is all it takes. It don't matter if your 300 lbs or 150lbs. we all have our weak spots. I'm sure those samoans have hard heads so a smart fighter would go for the knees, throat or solar plex and not the hard head.

next time ask for ICE,and see if he comes back! =)

I said there were gangs, they just didn't act like us over here. The guys I met up with were boogie boarding at pounders (a beach for locals). I don't want anything to do with tweakers here ( lowest fucking form of life) so why would i look for ice addicts there? Anyways, I gave him cash to get the weed, it don't matter if he likes ice or weed, money buys both and they came back with my shit.

p.s. I took down his lic plate and seen who they hung out with at pounders so I would have got mine one way or another if they didn't come back. still it was refreshing to see people who arent as greedy as over here. Also I stayed in a small village far from the tourist route and even hung out and drank some brews with the reigning gang on the north shore "LAIE BOYS." They were cool and treated me well. Out here , the fucking gang would have been looking for anyway they could to jack me , even if all i had was twenty bucks and gave them respect. Hasn't everyone here been lamenting about how fucked up our current generation of gangsters acts compared to the old. well over there, if you give them respect, they respect you back. over here, if you show respect its looked upon as weakness and you get stabbed in the back. Its a different scene homie. Have you ever been there or are you just going by what you hear? Ive been there 3 years in a row in spite of broke mofo's on this blog saying i spend all my time here blogging and nothing else. anyways i wont beat a dead horse so im done with this topic

Anonymous said...

I agree with you about Hawaii ese its more Old School/Family Oriented but how long will it last?

Anonymous said...

Hopefully it'll last forever cause shit is fucked up over here. One time this paisa was all pedo and asked me and some homies for a ride three blocks away. When we got there, he pulled out a large wad of feria and gave us "trienta pesos"(30 dollars) for the two minute liftwhich i thought was firme. All the homies instantly got murder in their eyes and wanted to rob the vato, then beat him down. Because I had seniority, I said chale, it wasn;t going to happen like that. We didn't beat or rob the vato and i told him to not be flashing money around because he was going to get hurt. Anyways, the homies were pissed at me for not letting them beat and rob this vato.

Anonymous said...

oh yeah, the paisa was about 65 years old. Some of the vatos who wanted to rob him had brown pride tatted on them. And the fucked up part was it wasn't just robbing him they wanted to do, they wanted to hurt him physically on GP. THATS SOME BROWN PRIDE HUH?

Heres the thing about Samoans, Hawaiians, Tongan and New Zealanders.
They have ethinic pride, which stems from the culture and closeness of family. They are very loyal to one another and very close to each other.
Not saying Chicanos, Black or asians have any less. But you rarely see Samoan on Samoan crime. But you see Raza jacking each other all the time, same with Blacks and asian are notorious for preying on their own.
Samoan strangers will greet each other on the street with a hug not ever know one another, how many cholos would do that?
I knew of a Samoan brother named Mike. Lets just say he used to do "Favors" for the NF when they need sticky situations taken care of. He was my neighbors brother and anytime the dude would come over, we would chill out drinking bears and just BS'ing. This guy was good people. But cross him and he turned into satan.
He actually made a so called "tough biker" apologize to one of my homies when we were are a bar that wasn't in our part of town. I never seen a so called "Tough Guy" shit in his pants so quickly.
Last I heard of him he was arrested after being surrounded by the police and he had grenades and was going to blow up the apartment building.
I'm glad I moved out before then.

[Samoan strangers will greet each other on the street with a hug not ever know one another, how many cholos would do that?]

Hey, dude, where in the world do you live? When El Hoyo Mara and White Fence go out to war, they ALWAYS hug each other prior to each gang fight!!

It's a tradition passed down through many generations. It's the "love" that we feel for each other prior to a confrontation.

Before you go sucking harder on your Samoan friend's dick, understand that Samoan gangsters are just the same as Chicano gangsters. They bleed red and I haven't met one (Samoan, Black, Chicano .... whatever) that can stop the damage of a .12-gauge shotgun.

You have good and bad in every ethnic group.

Hey vato who knows it all(up above), “TALK TRASH ON THE MAINLINE HOLMES SEE HOW FAR YOU GET” This type of disrespect isn't uncommon. Some of us older vatos do have a little experience."

Malo peeps from Sth Aucks, NZ. Sad but true our young Samoans and Tongans here are losing our culture and embracing ALL the negative aspects of American gang culture. Everytime a killing occurs in my neighborhood it's referred to as an "LA" style killing on the 6 o'clock news and recently it's been a weekly thing. It use to be Samoans against Tongans but now it's turf wars and beating up the weak and defenseless. It's never 1 on 1 but 10 on 1.

To prove that size don't matter if you're familiar with the K-1 circuit the Thrown Samoan fighter Mighty Mo got knocked the fuck out by Thailands Kaoklin's calculated leg kick to the temple and he's about 80-90lbs lighter!

TJ Jailer ,a while back you made a statement, that Rudy "Cheyenne" Cadena, was from Varrio Bakers. Ok well im just curious, as to where that info comes from. Since I am from Bakersfield, and have some connections into the Varrio(Bakers) but i never hear anyone discuss that info. Or claim that Rudy was from the Varrio. So any takers?
